All official business of the Forest Lakes Fire District Board of Directors and its subcommittees is conducted in public session. Agendas are published in advance of each meeting for public review. The public is encouraged to attend any meetings of interest.

Strategic planning is a vital function of the Board of Directors. The annual update to the Strategic Plan (STRAP) is developed by the Chief and the Board (committee of the whole) in several public work sessions. Minutes are HERE.
Now that the new fire station is completed, a Building Committee is no longer required. However, the Board of Directors has chartered a new Master Planning Committee to establish long term plans for all FLFD grounds, buildings, and infrastructure. Minutes are HERE.
